Innovation in Qur'anic Learning Methods in the Digital Era: A Study of Interactive and Multimedia Approaches

Qur'anic learning is a vital foundation in the life of Muslims and has continuously evolved to adapt to the changing times. In the digital era, the integration of technology into Qur'anic education offers significant advantages, including flexible access, wider reach, and diverse learning media through applications, e-learning, and online platforms. However, these advancements also pose challenges. The lack of direct interaction between learners and teachers may lead to errors in pronunciation (tajwid) and comprehension of the Qur'an. This study aims to explore the historical development of Qur'anic learning methods and examine the effectiveness of digital innovations in enhancing the learning process. Using a literature review approach, this research traces the shift from traditional methods to digital-based approaches. The findings indicate that digital innovation holds great potential for strengthening Qur'anic education, especially when combined with guidance from qualified teachers. The study concludes that digital innovation is not merely a supplement but a strategic necessity in addressing modern challenges and expanding the reach of Qur'anic teaching. Therefore, the development of learning methods that harmonize classical wisdom with modern technology is essential to nurture a Qur'anic generation that is both adaptive and competent in the digital age.
