This article discusses the relevance of Old Order education policies at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Sunan Drajat Kedungsantren, Bojonegoro. The study aims to analyze and evaluate the relevance of these policies in the current teaching and learning practices at the madrasah. The Old Order education policies are known for emphasizing discipline, morality, and character development among the younger generation. However, their implementation in the context of modern pesantren education still raises several important questions. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method, collecting data through interviews with teachers and students, classroom observations, and field documentation. The findings indicate that the core values of the Old Order education policies remain highly relevant in shaping students’ character. However, some teaching methods need to be adapted to current curricula and technology. These results suggest that Old Order education policies can serve as a foundation for contemporary learning, provided they are adjusted to align with the dynamics of the present era.
